If time permits, it’s a good idea to make a “dry run” visit to your next fishing destination, just to check things out. I do this like I warm up to play Horseshoes… I recently joined a horseshoes club locally, and I’m really enjoying, but before I play, I like to scope the area and its surroundings, I feel better prepared, sort of like a home court advantage! Of course as we played, it was only a matter of time before the subject of fishing came up! A couple of players that I had just met even invited me to their next fishing trip. Fishing is great, and the fishing community is even greater… a wonderful way to meet good and like minded people.
